Your senses kick into gear.
The smells of summer:
Campfires, sunscreen, coconut lime verbena from Bath and Body works.
The sights of summer :
The farmers market hustling and bustling in the streets of Sparks. In Reno, it means the church count goes down by about half.
The sounds of summer:
Constant child giggling in the cul-de-sac.
The touch of summer:
Grass on my toes, heat from the campfires, melted chocolate on my s'mores.
The tastes of summer:
Grilled food, hot dogs at the ballpark (the real deal Kosher dogs..mmmm YUM), and lemonade.
What tells you summer has arrived?
